Gratitude Post # 2

Today was a long but good day. There are lots of things to be grateful for. Yesterday was a different story! I was in the crabbiest of crabby mood, but today was a good day because I decided to make it one.

This will be a perfect way to end my day! Here is a list of 10 things I am grateful for:

1. Skype chats with family

2. Brunch with friend

3. Shopping with friend

4. Good meal by husband

5. Soft Scarves

6. Pistachios

7. WordPress posts

8. Wonderful advice from friends

9. Making lists to feel prepared

10. Old friends

It felt great to write these up. As I have my lavender candle lit up right before sleeping, I wish you all a pleasant week and let’s connect.

      1. I agree, although it can be difficult to remember that when times are hard. Yes, it’s a good exercise to look for something you are grateful for when it’s been a bad day! It makes you realise that there is light out there too.

  1. I always try to be a glass half full person – it’s easy to wallow in misery but sometimes it’s tiresome to watch! I reminded my son to be a glass half full person the other day and he growled ‘it’s half empty’. Exactly! ‘That’s why you’re miserable’, was my answer.

    1. Ahhh! Love the last sentence, I probably would have said the same. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜Š

      But I take a more realistic approach most of the time. Yes, the glass is half full, how can i work towards filling it up. 😁😊
